Founded in 1985
In 1985, AV Star Systems had its humble beginnings when Declan and Liz O'Sullivan set out on a mission to provide exceptional professional audio and video services. From the very start, we were dedicated to delivering tailored solutions for our clients.

Heard Stereo For The First Time
As a young teenager, Declan rewired an old mono Garrard turntable to a second amplifier and "heard stereo for the first time".
This was the seminal moment for him when he knew that his passion in life would involve the magic of sending voice through the air.
"I was amazed that sound and pictures could be recreated at the other end and I'm still amazed by it!"
"In 1985 I started the business and with the advent of wireless technology, I found that I enjoyed my ability to help present talent to a larger audience. We're still doing the same thing today", Declan says, "only it's easier now!".
Second Generation
Fast forward over three decades and AV Star Systems is one of Ireland's leading AV companies. It is still a family run business now steered by the second-generation Declan and James O'Sullivan.
The company has a talented team who work tirelessly to highlight brands and engage audiences. We partner with a wide range of diverse clients from corporate, to educational facilities, to houses of worship, to election campaigns and many more.
